'Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark' Returns To Theaters This Weekend Through Halloween

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark Returns To Theaters Halloween

Originally released in theaters back in August, André Øvredal‘s Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark pulled in nearly $100 million worldwide. Seemingly determined to hit the impressive box office milestone, the film is returning to theaters this weekend and just in time for Halloween! So, if you weren't able to catch it upon its original run or just want to experience it again on the big screen, round up your family and/or friends and head to the theater!

Just be sure to check your local listings first, as the film returns to approximately 1,500 theaters in the U.S. and will play through Halloween!

In the Guillermo del Toro-produced film, "It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying tome."

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark arrived on Digital this week and will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 5th from Lionsgate.
