With the Halloween season quickly coming to a close and Christmas just around the corner, there's no better time to let you guys know about an upcoming Christmas-based slasher short titled...well, Christmas Slasher.
In the film, when a couple of college kids decide to go on a hunting trip for their Christmas break, they get more than they bargained for when their past comes back to haunt them. An undead reindeer has set Mr. and Mrs. Claus on a murderous rampage of revenge, with the entire group as the target.
As the group struggles to stay alive and figure out what put them on Santa's "murder list", feelings run high and love triangles are revealed. However, it will take more than love and Christmas cheer to stop the killing. During a fight for survival, the question remains - who killed Rudolph?
Currently in production and crowdfunding on Indiegogo from writer/director Destiny Soria ("Ghost Talk", Witchula) from her company Lady Destiny Production, Christmas Slasher stars horror icon Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Victor Crowley), Andrew Kai ("Leathal Weapon"), Jason C. Campbell ("NCIS New Orleans"), Mathew LaSpina, Keylan Haynes, Jasmine Anderson, Brian Mahood, Cliff Edgett, Dennis Doctorello, Erin Ryan and Ulysses AJ Alridge. Soria will also star as the main character, Alita Claus.
The short, which has been approved as a SAG short project, promises to bring "a horror twist to classic characters including Santa Claus, Rudolph, and Mrs. Claus while also adding a psychological element into the mix."
Of course, the Indiegogo campaign will offer up some amazing perks, such as gory props from the set, a walk-in death scene, swag bags, and more!
