What better way to celebrate All Hallow's Eve than with some first look footage from David Gordon Green's new Halloween film, Halloween Kills?
Filming is currently underway on the sequel, and Jamie Lee Curtis, who makes her return as Laurie Strode, has taken to Twitter to share some early footage from the film!
Halloween Kills will also bring back Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter, Karen, and Andi Matichak as Laurie's granddaughter, Allyson. Kyle Richards reprises the role of Lindsey Wallace, with Robert Longstreet playing Lonnie Elam and Nancy Stephens returning to the role of the original Halloween’s Nurse Marion. Charles Cyphers is also back as the original film's Sheriff Leigh Brackett. Holy hell, that's a lot of returning cast members, and 40 years later, at that!
The OG Shape, Nick Castle, and James Jude Courtney will both return to the role of Michael Myers.
Gordon Green co-wrote the Halloween Kills script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems. Blumhouse is once again teaming up with Universal Pictures, Trancas International Films, and Miramax to bring the new Halloween movies to life.
Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block will produce, with John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green and Ryan Freimann executive producing.
Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends are expected to be filmed back to back, with the former slated for an October 16th, 2020 release, and the latter arriving on October 15th, 2021.
