In the Garo Setian written, directed, produced, and edited Automation, a workplace robot named "Auto" transforms into a killing machine when he discovers he will be replaced by a more efficient model.
The film will be released in select cinemas on November 29th and VOD/Blu-ray December 3rd courtesy of Epic Pictures and DREAD.
Automation stars Elissa Dowling (We Are Still Here), Parry Shen (The Hatchet films), Graham Skipper (Sequence Break, Almost Human), Sarah French (Blind) and Scream Queen Sadie Katz as office employees thrust into peril by a spiteful robot.
Setian co-wrote alongside Rolfe Kanefsky and Matthew L. Schaffer.
Garo Setian and Anahit Setian produced for their Hungry Monster Entertainment company, along with Mike Elliott, Greg Holstein, Joseph P. Genier, Rob Kerchner, Esther Goodstein and Dan Bowen.
