Following the airing of the Tom Savini-directed episode of "Creepshow" (By the Silver Water of Lake Champlain) on Shudder last month, the streaming service has announced that, Smoke and Mirrors: The Story of Tom Savini, a documentary chronicling the special effects guru's life, will be making its streaming premiere exclusively on Shudder December 16th.

The documentary features interviews with the man himself, Danny McBride, Robert Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, Alice Cooper, Greg Nicotero, Sid, Haig, Doug Bradley, Caroline Williams, Tom Atkins, Jerry Only, Corey Feldman, Howard Berger and even the late, great George A. Romero.
Directed by Jason Baker, Smoke and Mirrors: The Story of Tom Savini will also stream on Shudder in Canada.
