Seemingly out of nowhere, Lionsgate has released the trailer for Antebellum, a new horror film starring Janelle Monáe that will arrive in theaters on April 24th, 2020.
The trailer was dropped with a trio of posters, which can also be seen below.
In the film, a successful author Veronica Henley (Monáe) finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.
Antebellum is a new thriller from the producer of Jordan Peele's Get Out and Us, Sean McKittrick, and groundbreaking directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz.
Marque Richardson II, Eric Lange, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Rob Aramayo, Lily Cowles, and Jena Malone also star.
