Cleopatra Entertainment, with sales and distribution expertise provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has announced a March 3rd, 2020 Blu-ray release for writer/director/punk rock icon Glenn Danzig’s highly anticipated horror anthology, Verotika (read our review).
A direct adaptation of Danzig's Verotik comic books, Verotika became the buzz of the film community when critics hailed it as an instant cult favorite, solidifying its position among other "so bad, they're good " movies like The Room and Birdemic.
The press release describes the anthology as "a creepy, surreal and bloody trilogy of erotic horror stories."
Verotika stars Alice Haig, Ashley Wisdom, Kayden Kross, Natalia Borowsky, Rachel Alig, Scotch Hopkins, and Sean Kanan.
The film is currently wrapping up its limited screening run, with its next event being on December 13th in Philadelphia at the Philadelphia Film Center with Danzig in attendance.
The Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack of Verotika will also includes a CD of the soundtrack as a bonus, and is sure to be one of the most anticipated releases for horror fans during the first quarter of 2020.
