What a year the Boulet Brothers have had. The dark drag duo of Swanthula and Dracmorda Boulet finally let loose their third season of their cult horror competition show, "Dragula". Their legendary series of Queen Kong nightlife events came to a close. Following the third season’s run, the second and third seasons of the series were picked up by Netflix, allowing for more eyes than ever to take in what their twisted minds have to offer.
During the Hospital of Horrors challenge this past season, the Boulets each penned their own letters on their experiences as queer entertainers for Alternative Press, and this led many to wonder if the two would take their writing beyond this one feature. It seems as though we have our answer, as literary agent Connor Goldsmith has signed the Boulet Brothers, tweeting that he is "very excited to be working with these icons on their first book."
Goldsmith, a New York native, is a Senior Agent at Fuse Literary. His clientele include Alex White, who penned an Alien book titled The Cold Forge, as well as a host of other science fiction titles. Goldsmith takes a particular interest in stories from and regarding those with marginalized perspectives, making the queer nightlife provocateurs perfect to bring to his roster.
The real question is, will this first book by the Boulets be a memoir, a tell-all of their lives as hellish hostesses? Or could the two flex their talents as writers of fiction? Time will tell, but at least they appear to have a powerful ally in Connor Goldsmith.
