Locke & Key Netflix February Premiere

Years after a failed Fox pilot episode, which left the series sitting in development hell, Netflix has redeveloped the scripts and re-cast a new series based on Joe Hill's graphic novel series "Locke & Key," which will be arriving on the streaming service on February 7th, 2020!

Netflix has also shared the first teaser artwork for the highly-anticipated television adaptation of the comic book series co-created by Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez for IDW comics, which can be seen below.

"Locke & Key" revolves around three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Massachusetts only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. Little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them.

Carlton Cuse (“Lost”, “Bates Motel”) and Meredith Averill (“The Haunting of Hill House”) co-showrun the small screen version of the coming-of-age mystery about love, loss and the unshakable bonds that define family.

The series stars Darby Stanchfield (“Scandal”) as Nina Locke, Jackson Robert Scott (IT, IT: Chapter 2) as Bode Locke, Connor Jessup (“American Crime”) as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones (“Horrible Histories”) as Kinsey Locke, Bill Heck (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs) as Rendell Locke, Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge, Thomas Mitchell Barnet as Sam Lesser, and Griffin Gluck (“American Vandal”) as Gabe.

Cuse, Averill, and Hill executive produce alongside Aron Eli Coleite and Chris Ryall with Lydia Antonini and Ted Adams for IDW, Lindsey Springer for Genre Arts, Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, David Alpert and Rick Jacobs for Circle of Confusion, Tim Southam, John Weber and Frank Siracusa for Take 5.

The first season will consist of 10 episodes.
