Final Trailer For Guillermo Del Toro-Produced 'Antlers' Keeps A Wendigo-Like Monster Shroude

Antlers Final Trailer Scott Cooper

Today sees the release of the final trailer for the Guillermo del Toro-produced monster movie Antlers, based on the short story "The Quiet Boy" by "Channel Zero" creator Nick Antosca.

Thankfully, all of the trailers up until this point have done a great job teasing the monster without revealing too much, and this one also keeps the Wendigo-like monster shrouded in mystery, only offering here and there glimpses of the beast.

In the film, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.

Antlers also stars Graham Greene, Scott Haze, Rory Cochrane and Amy Madigan.

Antosca co-wrote the film alongside Henry Chaisson, with revisions by Scott Cooper, who directed.

Del Toro produced alongside David Goyer and J. Miles Dale.

Fox Searchlight will release Antlers in theaters on April 17th, 2020.
