After drawing mass amounts of praise on the festival circuit and a limited theatrical release, Tilman Singer’s indie favorite Luz is gearing up for a home video release in early 2020.
Altered Innocence and CAV Distributing have announced that they'll be bringing Singer's directorial debut to special edition Blu-ray on March 10th. The all-region release will present the movie in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen with DTS-HD 5.1 audio (in German, Spanish, and English, with English and Spanish subtitles) and a handful of special features.
In the film, "Fleeing from the grasp of a possessed woman, a distressed cabdriver begins a confession in a rundown police station that endangers everyone who crosses her path."
"Shot entirely on 16mm and featuring a hypnotic synth-driven score, this first-time feature film from director Tilman Singer pays homage to the Euro Horror sensibilities of Andrzej Żuławski’s Possession while subverting and reinventing the genre along with contemporaries like Panos Cosmatos (Mandy)."
Luz stars Luana Velis, Jan Bluthardt, Julia Riedler, Johannes Benecke, Nadja Stübiger and Lilli Lorenz.
Special Features include:
