Deathgasm writer/director Jason Lei Howden's darkly comedic action sci-fi thriller Guns Akimbo, starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter, Horns) and Samara Weaving (Ready or Not, Mayhem), made its World Premiere at last year's Toronto Film Festival, and we've now learned that it'll be opening in select theaters on February 28th, 2020.
In the film, Miles’ (Radcliffe) nerdy existence as a video game developer takes a dramatic turn when he inadvertently gets caught up as the next contestant with SKIZM, an underground gang live-streaming real-life death matches. While Miles excels at running away from everything, that won’t help him outlast Nix (Weaving), a killer at the top of her game.
Joe Neurauter, Felipe Marino, and Tom Hern produced Guns Akimbo, which will be distributed by Saban Films.
