Ahead of its January 24th limited theatrical premiere, we've learned that Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil) and SpectreVision’s Color Out of Space, an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short story that stars Nicolas Cage, will be released on home video in February.
In the film, "After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farm, Nathan Gardner (Cage) and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a technicolor nightmare."
Directed by Stanley from a screenplay he wrote with Scarlett Aramis, Color Out of Space also stars Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight, Josh C. Waller, Q’orianka Kilcher, and Tommy Chong.
