Set to begin shooting in Italy this spring, Dario Argento will reunite with his daughter Asia Argento (Demons 2, Trauma, Mother of Tears) for a new giallo titled Occhiali Neri (aka Black Glasses), his first film since 2012’s Dracula 3D.
In an interview with Criminology Festival, Argento dished out the following details on Black Glasses:
"Yes, I will shoot it in the spring. There are many outdoor scenes, surrounded by nature, in winter it is too cold to shoot," Argento told the site. "As announced there will also be Asia. I remember her 8 years debut for Sergio Citti, then the whole journey that brought her to America. I wrote for her Trauma, she acted with me at 13 years old. A collaboration lasting five films. Our paths have crossed many times."
Asia also posted about Black Glasses on Instagram earlier today, confirming all of the various reports around the web.
