Before directing last year's Child's Play remake, Lars Klevberg wrapped up his debut feature Polaroid, an expansion on his same-titled horror short. Following several delays, we've learned that the film is coming to Netflix next month!
This is great news, as Klevberg had previously told Dread Central that he didn't know if the film would ever see the light of day following the collapse of The Weinstein Company.
In Polaroid, "A high school loner, Bird Fitcher, has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the mysterious Polaroid vintage camera she stumbles upon, but it doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken meet a tragic end."
The film was written by Blair Butler (Hell Fest) and stars Kathryn Prescott, Tyler Young, Grace Zabriskie and Mitch Pileggi. The film's entity is played by creature actor extraordinaire Javier Botet.
Check out the film's trailer below. The original short has also been poster for your viewing pleasure.
You can stream Polaroid beginning February 9th.
