Ahead of this Sunday's Super Bowl LIV, which will see the San Francisco 49ers taking on Kansas City Chiefs, Paramount has unveiled a new Super Bowl "Big Game" TV spot and featurette for A Quiet Place II.
The monster-filled Super Bowl spot sees the return of writer-director John Krasinski's character, Lee Abbott, in what will obviously be a sequence that takes place before the events of the first film. It also features some brand new footage.
The featurette, titled "Questions Answered," goes behind the scenes with Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe as they talk about leaving the path of safety and going into the unknown. The latter three will be reprising their roles from the 2018 film.
A Quiet Place Part II picks up right after the deadly events of the first film. The Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, "Peaky Blinders") and Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator) will also star in the sequel.
A Quiet Place Part II hits theaters on March 20th, 2020.
