Set during the medieval Joseon period in a kingdom defeated by corruption and famine, Netflix‘s Korean zombie series "Kingdom" was met with high acclaim when it premiered a little over a year ago, and we've now learned that a second season is headed our way this March.
Netflix's second Korean series, "Kingdom" will return to the streaming service on March 13th. You can check out the zombie-filled teaser trailer below, along with some poster art.
The teaser showcases the return of male lead Joo Ji-hoon and female lead Bae Doo-na, as well as some new and familiar faces.
In the series directed by Kim Seong-hun, a crown prince is sent on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious plague that’s spreading across his country. The truth threatens the kingdom, when he discovers that it is an atrocious epidemic in the form of zombies.
