Hi-dilly-ho, metal-inos!
Okilly Dokilly are a metal band inspired by "The Simpsons", with each member dressed like the iconic neighbor, the God-fearing Ned Flanders. The members are Head Ned (vocals, guitars), Shred Ned (guitars), Zed Ned (synths), Dread Ned (drums/percussion), and Bed Ned (bass).
Oh, and their touring members have included the likes of Dead Ned, Bred Ned, and Cred Ned.
The world’s first “Nedal” band have announced their next tour, entitled “When the Comet Gets Here,” set to embark this April. Beginning in the band’s native Phoenix, Arizona on April 3rd, the twenty-date trek will take them well into May, as the tour ends in Austin, Texas on May 9th. The support for the tour has not been announced at this time.
Coinciding with this announcement is a new single, “Slaughterhouse.” Head Ned is a stickler for detail, and when he realized that the first cut of the song (not sorry for the pun) saw him misquoting Flanders in the lyrics, he left it off the band’s second album, last year’s Howdilly Twodilly. After a re-recording in December, the track is ready to go, by golly, and is streaming now.
