New Trailer For Leigh Whannell's 'The Invisible Man' Is Hunted By An Unseen Predator

The Invisible Man New Trailer

Following yesterday's IMAX poster and ahead of next month's theatrical release, a new trailer for Blumhouse and writer/director Leigh Whannell‘s (Upgrade) The Invisible Man has today been released, and with it comes a whole lotta new footage!

Clocking in at 2-minutes and 43-seconds, the trailer offers a much longer look at the tense new take on Universal's monster classic, which sees Elisabeth Moss‘s character being stalked by an invisible and deadly force. I do, however, encourage you not to view this trailer if you wish to avoid spoilers, as the it showcases quite a few tense, scary sequences featured in the film.

The full plot rundown reads:

"Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid)."

"But when Cecilia’s abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see."

Jason Blum produces The Invisible Man for his Blumhouse Productions. The film is also produced by Kylie du Fresne (Upgrade, The Sapphires) for Goalpost Pictures. The executive producers are Whannell, Beatriz Sequeira, Charles Layton, Rosemary Blight, Ben Grant, Couper Samuelson and Jeanette Volturno.

The Invisible Man creeps into theaters on February 28th, 2020.
