A24 continues to dish out high quality horror films and the upcoming religious horror film Saint Maud, the debut film from writer-director Rose Glass, looks to be another winner. Arriving this April, today brings a new trailer in celebration of Ash Wednesday.
Saint Maud described as "a chilling and boldly original vision of faith, madness, and salvation in a fallen world."
"Maud, a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul — but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy calling."
The film stars Morfydd Clark, Jennifer Ehle, Lilly Frazer, Lily Knight, Marcus Hutton, Turlough Convery, and Rosie Sansom.
A24 will release Saint Maud in limited theaters across the U.S. on April 3rd, 2020.
