AEW's "The Exalted One" Mr. Brodie Lee Has Passed Away At The Age of 41

And I say again, god damn this year.

Late Saturday evening, All Elite Wrestling broke the news that Jon Huber, better known as the leader of the Dark Order and former TNT Champion Mr. Brodie Lee had passed away, aged 41. This announcement was then confirmed by Huber’s wife Amanda, in a heartbreaking post on her Instagram account. In her post, she revealed that Jon had been dealing with a lung issue that was not COVID-related, and went on to thank the doctors at the Mayo Clinic for their care of Jon prior to his passing.

Both AEW’s press release and Amanda’s Instagram post can be found below:

Huber’s last appearance on television was in October of this year, competing in a brutal Dog Collar Match against “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. Lee lost the TNT Championship back to Rhodes after a bloody, entertaining, and bloody entertaining contest. While it was speculated by many that Lee’s time away from the ring was to sell the vicious nature of this match, it appears as though the real reason was much more grim.

In addition, Huber previously wrestled in WWE as Luke Harper of the Wyatt Family, and later Harper of the Bludgeon Brothers. In his time in WWE, he held the NXT Tag Team, Intercontinental, and SmackDown Tag Team Championships. He leaves behind his wife Amanda, and his two children Brodie and Nolan.

We here at CryptTeaze extend our sincerest condolences to the Huber family at this time, and wish the family the best as they grieve this tremendous loss.
