Saban Films has today unveiled the official trailer for American Carnage, directed by Diego Hallivis and starring Jenna Ortega (Scream 2022, Ti West's X).
American Carnage is set to release in theaters, Digital and On Demand on July 15th, 2022. Check out the trailer for the comedic thriller below.
In the film, "After a governor issues an executive order to arrest the children of undocumented immigrants, the newly detained youth are offered an opportunity to have their charges dropped by volunteering to provide care to the elderly. Once inside the eldercare facility, the volunteers discover the governor and the facility’s supervisor have cooked up a horrifyingly depraved conspiracy that endangers the young and the old in this twisted thriller-comedy."
Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Allen Maldonado, Bella Ortiz, Jorge Diaz, Yumarie Morales, Catherine McCafferty, with Brett Cullen and Eric Dane also star.
Diego Hallivis co-wrote the film with his brother Julio Hallivis.
American Carnage has been rated "R" for "some disturbing violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual references, nudity and drug use."
