Anime Classic 'Wicked City' Getting Blu-ray Release This September

Released in 1987, Hideyuki Kikuchi and Yoshiaki Kawajiri's anime horror/fantasy film Wicked City is one of the most celebrated anime features of all-time, right up there with Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Perfect Blue and Ghost in the Shell, and it's finally making the jump to Blu-ray on September 29th from Discotek Media.

The release will feature Japanese language with English subtitles, and both the US and UK English dubs!

In Wicked City, "Two agents - a lady-killer human and a voluptuous demon - attempt to protect a signatory to a peace ceremony between the human world and the "Black World" from radicalized demons."
