Are you looking to scratch that '90s Nickelodeon nostalgic itch this holiday season? Well, CBS All Access has got you covered, as two of the network's most beloved and enduring series have premiered on the streaming service.
The first five seasons of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and the first two seasons of "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters" are available for your binging pleasure!
In "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"...
"This spooky anthology series for kids recounts ghost stories told by the young members of the Midnight Society as they gather around a campfire. Each episode opens with members of the Midnight Society at their secret spot in the woods, where they prepare their fire and the night's storyteller announces the title of the his or her offering. However, the cameras soon leave the storyteller and switch to the tale being told."
And in "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters"...
"Beneath a smelly garbage dump live Ickis, Oblina and Krumm, monsters-in-training at the elite Monster Academy. Under their strict headmaster, The Gromble, will they ever learn to scare humans without first scaring themselves?"
Back in September, it was announced that CBS All Access will be rebranded as Paramount+ in early 2021 as part of the service’s expansion to feature content from ViacomCBS’ leading portfolio of broadcast, news, sports and entertainment brands.
Following the Viacom and CBS merger, CBS All Access gained access to other classic Nickelodeon shows, including "Rugrats," "Ren & Stimpy," "CatDog" and "All That," which are all currently available to stream on the service.
In other "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" news, Nickelodeon has renewed the series reboot for a second season, with production slated to begin in 2021.
