Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment have released the brutal red band trailer for Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion‘s (Bushwick) home invasion thriller Becky, which arrives on Digital, On Demand and in select drive-ins on June 5th.
The trailer plays up the film's "R" rating with "strong bloody violence, grisly images, and language."
Known for his comedic roles in films such as Paul Blart: Mall Cop and his TV series "The King of Queens," Kevin James takes on his first dark/villainous role in the film, which also stars Annabelle: Creation‘s Lulu Wilson, Amanda Brugel (Hulu’s "The Handmaid’s Tale"), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes) and Joel McHale ("Community").
In the film, spunky and rebellious Becky (Wilson) is brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father Jeff (McHale) in an effort to try to reconnect. The trip immediately takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick (James), suddenly invade the lake house.
Nick Morris (The Evil Eye), Ruckus Skye and Lane Skye (The Devil to Pray, Rattle the Cage) wrote the script.
