We're excited to reveal the first trailer for director Harley Wallen's new vampire horror film Beneath Us All, which reunites Sean Whalen and Yan Birch, who starred in Wes Craven's 1991 classic The People Under the Stairs.
The film follows Julie, played by Angelina Danielle Cama, a foster child nearing her 18th birthday. She finds an item buried in the woods with something unspeakable inside. Whalen plays Todd, Julie’s step father, who struggles with his gambling issues.
Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity 3, Gore Orphanage), Kaiti Wallen (Eternal Code), Michael Alexander (Moving Parts) and Wallen himself round out the cast.
Says Wallen of the film, which was shot in April in Lake Orion, Michigan: "It felt good and overdue to reconnect 'Roach' and 'The Stairmaster' for the first time since their iconic performances in Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs."
Wallen co-produced with his wife Kaiti Wallen for Painted Creek Productions, Michael Alexander of Westside Warrior Films, Annette Cama of Cama Productions and Joe Williamson of The Williamson Management Company.
The next step for Wallen and Beneath Us All is the festival circuit. The film is not yet signed but according to Wallen, they have "some pretty solid offers to consider already."
