If you're looking for some snazzy new kicks to wear once all of this pandemic has stuff blown over and you can finally get back to enjoying a normal life, then look no further! Chicago-born hip hop artist and entrepreneur Juan "Big Herc" Hernandez has teamed with Troma to offer horror fans and sneakerheads alike a kick-ass pair of high top shoes!
An official collaboration between Big Herc and the legendary indie film company, these high top canvas shoes pay tribute to the ’90s animated series “Toxic Crusaders,” a Saturday morning cartoon show that was spawned from the Toxic Avenger movieverse.
The 1991 series introduced kids to Toxie and his ragtag band of crusaders, who did battle with various polluters of the environment. The series only ran for 13 episodes.
These high tops are selling for $60 with sizes ranging from 6 through 14. Each pair comes with black and "Toxic green" shoelaces. This series it limited to only 250 pairs and come in hand-numbered shoe boxes with the classic "Toxic Crusaders" style packaging artwork that you know and love!
It's also very likely that we can expect more licensed Toxic Avenger and "Toxic Crusaders" merch from Big Herc in the near future!
