The 100 Candles Game Horror Trailer Nicolas Onetti

From New Zealand company Black Mandala and creative director Nicolás Onetti (A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio, Abrakadabra, What the Waters Left Behind), The 100 Candles Game is an upcoming horror anthology film based on the Japanese ritual Hyakumonagatari Kaidankai (more accurately translated as "The Gathering of 100 Supernatural Tales"), and today brings the release of the official trailer.

In the film, "A group of friends must confront their fears in a terrifying game. They must sit by the other players in a circle made of a hundred candles, take one of them and tell a horror story. As stories are told and candles get blown, strange events will start to happen. They will feel strange presences around them, lurking in the shadows. But they MUST NOT leave the game or else a terrible curse will fall upon them…"

Guillermo Lockhart directed the film's "wrap-around" story and wrote the script with horror novelist Mauro Croche.

The 100 Candles Game stars Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect), Magui Bravi, Clara Kovacic, James Wright and Agustin Olcic.

The film also features the directorial efforts of Víctor Català, Daniel Ruebesam, Tony Morales, Nicholas Peterson, Oliver Garland, Brian Deane and Christopher West.

Check out the trailer below and stay tuned for a release date!
