Bloody New 'Bridge of the Doomed' Trailer Sets a Desert Scene for Undead Horde Mayhem

Late last year, our own Nikolas Sullivan covered the crowdfunding campaign for Mahal Empire’s upcoming zombie horror, Bridge of the Doomed. In subsequent articles involving other projects from the Vegas-based studio, I celebrated the campaign’s final total of nearly $40,000, well above their initial $25,000 goal. Finally, we have a proper trailer for the project, and this bridge is over anything but troubled water.

In it, we see the zombies head-on, as they threaten to overwhelm a group of soldiers operating out of the desert. The only hope to contain the infection is by securing the bridge over the nearby river, but what lies beneath said bridge may cause more casualties than the living dead.

One look at this trailer and it is plain to see where the finishing funds went to. The zombies look disgusting, the gore effects look sickening, and the madness that is about to ensue is exciting. Directed by Michael Su (My Demon Within), written by Adrian Milnes, and starring Robert LaSardo, Sarah French, Kate Watson, and Michael Pare, Bridge of the Doomed is slated for release this fall.
