"Clarice" Teaser Previews CBS's Upcoming 'Silence of the Lambs' Sequel Series


The silence is over in the first teaser for CBS's upcoming The Silence of the Lambs sequel series "Clarice," which has been dated to premiere early next year.


The new psychological thriller takes place in 1993, a year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs, and explores the untold personal story of Clarice Starling. The FBI agent returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington, D.C.


You can watch the series premiere of "Clarice" on Thursday, February 11th at 10/9c on CBS and CBS All Access.


Rebecca Breeds ("Pretty Little Liars") plays the role of Clarice Starling, with Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar franchise), Nick Sandow ("Orange is the New Black"), Michael Cudlitz ("The Walking Dead"), Marnee Carpenter ("Criminal Minds", "Good Girls"), Jayne Atkinson ("House of Cards"), Shawn Doyle ("The Expanse"), and Tim Guinee ("Homeland") rounding out the cast.

Elizabeth Klaviter executive produces "Clarice" and serves as showrunner for the series that comes to us from writers and executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet ("Star Trek: Discovery").
