Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and Gremlins star Zach Galligan have joined the cast of the Scott Hansen (The Possession Experiment) and Desiree Connell-directed Halloween horror film Bad Candy, CryptTeaze learned today.
Taylor and Galligan will play radio DJ personalities Chilly Billy and Paul (seen below), and will be joined by Derek Russo (Jumanji: The Next Level), Ryan Kiser (Truth or Dare), Haley Leary (Strip Club Massacre), Mike Milligan, Bill Pacer, Alexandra Lucchesi, Kenneth Trujillo, David Waterhouse and Chris Mayers.
Bad Candy follows local Halloween stories of both myth and lessons learned in the community of New Salem. With its annual Psychotronic FM Halloween show, reenactment radio DJs Chilly Billy and Paul weave the tales of the supernatural of years gone by. In this small town it’s a grimy ending for most, but will a few good souls survive?
Hansen is producing and co-wrote the film's script with Connell, who is also executive producing. Jacob Kasher, Richard Fitzpatrick, Bret Disent and Mitch Cox are also serving as producers.
