Lust from Beyond, a psychological horror game with occult and erotic overtones, will be available February 25th via Steam.
A trailer was released recently, and at first glance, this game seems to be unique blend of Silent Hill-esque imagery, Clive Barker levels of sexually confusing creatures, and unnerving twists that will have players on the edge of their seats.
Lust from Beyond is created by Movie Games Lunarium, the creators of 2018’s Lust for Darkness.
You play as Victor Halloway, an antiquarian, who’s tormented by visions of a sinister land full of lechery and pain. To learn its secrets, he joins the Cult of Ecstasy, whose members seem to know the answers to his disturbing questions. Victor learns the cult's life from within, getting lost in its blasphemous and sexual customs. But pleasures of this world are soon not enough. The cultists, following Victor's visions, attempt to enter Lusst’ ghaa, the Land of Ecstasy beyond the borders of our reality.
Lust from Beyond is marked as an ‘Adults Only’ game. The game’s developers describe it as containing “sex and nudity, extreme and sexual violence and it's not suitable for viewers under 18.”
A demo of Lust from Beyond is currently available on Steam, along with two standalone expansions, Lust from Beyond: Prologue and Lust from Beyond: Scarlet.
