Following its theatrical and Digital/VOD release last month, Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment will release Joe Begos (The Mind's Eye, Bliss) and Fangoria's VFW on Limited Edition VHS on March 31st, 2020.
The release will arrive in a black clamshell cases with exclusive extras to be announced shortly. With cover artwork created by Paul Wee ("The Simpsons"), this run is limited to 50 tapes. The VHS is officially licensed from RLJE Films and approved by Begos.
In VFW, "A tight-knit group of grizzled military veterans just want to have a laidback night of hard boozing inside their VFW digs. Too bad for them, though, that a gang of punk drug dealers and supercharged addicts have other plans for their unsuspecting elders."
The action-horror film stars Stephen Lang (Don't Breathe), William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption), Martin Kove (The Karate Kid), David Patrick Kelly ("Twin Peaks"), George Wendt ("Cheers"), and Fred Williamson (From Dusk Till Dawn).
Witter also released the following statement regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic:
