'Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach' Gets A Gameplay Trailer

If you thought we’d have the long-awaited Five Nights at Freddy’s film adaptation before we had a new game in the series, that might be a fair assumption anywhere else, but given the rate at which the entries in this overnight success franchise pop up, it’s a coin flip at best. On the PlayStation 5 launch livestream, Security Breach was announced as the next installment, and now we have our first look at how the game will play.

The new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzaplex (name of your wrestling finishing move) looks substantially bigger than any other iteration of the doomed pizzeria, and the animatronics have a neon punk rock look, as opposed to the more cookie-cutter Chuck E. Cheese dupes we’ve had in games past. Much like in Sister Location, players will be able to walk through the shop, with flashing lights, ball pits, and arcade machines galore.

Never mind the animatronic creatures roaming the joint when they’re supposed to be in night mode.

The game is currently slated for early 2021, and will release on PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as on PC. Other consoles will see the game a few months after the initial PlayStation and PC release. Steelwool Games are publishing the game and developing it alongside series creator Scott Cawthon.
