Stuntman/actor David "Big Dave" Mattey, who made his debut as the monstrous hero in Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV and went on to work on the likes of "The Book of Boba Fett", Thor, Hancock, Bright, and "American Horror Story", is currently fighting a rare disease called amyloidosis.
Being that the horror community always tends to come together in times of need to help each other out, the wonderful people at Fright-Rags have stepped in to help with a Troma-approved Toxic Avenger design, which is available for pre-order as a T-shirt and zip-up hoodie.
Here's the best part. 100% of the profits will be donated to Mattey for medical expenses! But if you plan on ordering you'll need to act fast, as the design is only available now through Monday, May 16th!
In other Fright-Rags news, the company is celebrating halfway to Halloween with new apparel from John Carpenter’s 1978 classic Halloween. The line features five shirts, including two tie-dye designs, and a pair of Michael Myers socks. Fright-Rags also has new and reprinted shirts from the "Hannibal" TV series and The Burbs in stock.
You can preview all of the new collections below and visit Fright-Rags.com to place an order.
