Full-Length 'Books of Blood' Trailer Offers a Deeper Look Into the Nightmares of Clive Barker

The stories from Clive Barker's Books of Blood serve as the inspiration for a new horror anthology film that's coming to Hulu this Halloween season, and after sharing a short teaser earlier this month, the streaming service has today unveiled a hefty full-length trailer.

You can watch official trailer for Books of Blood below, which exclusively premiered on Entertainment Weekly earlier today.

The feature film anthology will premiere on October 7th.

Brannon Braga (“Star Trek: The Next Generation", "The Orville") directed the adaptation that's based on Barker's six volumes of original stories that were published in 1984 and 1985.

Braga also co-wrote the film and serves as executive producer alongside Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Brian Witten, Jeff Kwatinetz, Josh Barry, Clive Barker and Adam Simon.

The official synopsis reads...

"Based on Clive Barker’s acclaimed and influential horror anthology Books of Blood, this feature takes audiences on a journey into uncharted and forbidden territory through three uncanny tales tangled in space and time."

Books of Blood stars stars Britt Robertson (For the People), Rafi Gavron (A Star is Born), Anna Friel (Marcella), Yul Vazquez (Midnight, Texas) and Freda Foh Shen (Ad Astra).
