Full Moon Features Reveals Three New Films Coming in 2021

Were films like Corona Zombies not enough for you last year? Fear not, as Charles Band and his crew have three new tales of outlandish terror coming in this calendar year, all shot safely during this era of Pandemia. In an exclusive feature by Syfy Wire, Full Moon Features have announced three new films coming from the legendary direct-to-video horror label, responsible for such iconic franchises as Puppet Master and Subspecies.

On the subject of Subspecies, writer/director Ted Nicolaou brings us the first of this trio, Don’t Let Her In, due out this May. In it, a young expecting couple rent an apartment from an eccentric artist. The artist soon creeps her way into the couple’s minds, bed, and then some, which is strange enough before a baby is discovered to be on the way. Something seems off about this new spawn, and soon a situation reminiscent of Rosemary’s Baby ensues.

Demonic Toys gets a new sequel this June courtesy of writer/director William Butler (Miskatonic U: The Resonator). In Baby Oopsie, the titular tyke raises all sorts of hell in ways that are not safe for daycare, much less for work. This is the Baby Oopsie Daisy’s first solo film, though the first in the franchise since 2010’s Demonic Toys 2: Personal Demons.

Finally, this July we get Piranha Women, written and directed by Femalien: Cosmic Crush’s Lindsey Schmitz. The titular characters are “the world’s curviest thieves,” though this film should not be confused with the 1989 film Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death. The film is billed as “madder than Moreau,” invoking the name of the iconic H.G. Wells story.
