Full Moon's 'Corona Zombies' Saga Continues with 'Barbie and Kendra Save the Tiger King'

Barbie and Kendra Save the Tiger King Poster Full Moon

Last Friday, Charles Band and Full Moon Features unleashed their satirical and highly controversial Corona Zombies upon the world. The hastily-produced Coronavirus-themed exploitation film mixed newly shot scenes with stock footage from Zombies vs. Strippers and dubbed clips from Bruno Mattei's classic Hell of the Living Dead.

As expected, the film caused and continues to cause quite a ruckus among the horror community, with some loving the film's tongue-in-cheek humor and others despising its "poor taste". Hell, a certain internet blogger with an overly-inflated ego even caused quite a commotion when his Tweet was "illegally" used on the film's latest poster.

But as things go, any publicity is good publicity, and Full Moon is now in-production (in living rooms and home studios across LA) on the next chapter in the Corona Zombies saga, Barbie and Kendra Save the Tiger King. Yes, that Tiger King.

In the film, "After narrowly escaping the contagious catastrophe of the CORONA ZOMBIES, ditsy American beauties Barbie (Cody Renee Cameron) and Kendra (Robin Sydney) battle their deadliest foe yet: social distancing boredom! Hooked on binge-watching a television show about a man and his tigers on a nature channel, the two ladies hatch the perfect plan to save the Tiger King himself! From the living rooms of LA to the wilds of Africa, our dynamic duo embark on a curve-flattening journey to free Joe from a fate worse than Carole Baskin!"

"It's a bungle in the jungle as Barbie and Kendra continue their quest to survive the panic of the pandemic in this, the next Coronasploitation caper from the studio that NEVER sleeps, Full Moon!"

Barbie and Kendra Save the Tiger King is slated to release exclusively to the Full Moon Features channel and app on May 15th! Check out the film's poster below.
