Glorious New 'Psycho Goreman' Artwork is a Bloody Mess

Just yesterday, we learned that Canadian filmmaker Steven Kostanski (The Void, Leprechaun Returns, Manborg) had been set to executive produce and direct the first four episodes of Syfy's upcoming "Day of the Dead," but before that happens, RLJE Films will be releasing his latest project Psycho Goreman in theaters, On Demand and Digital HD on January 22nd, 2021.

Shudder will also serve as the exclusive streaming home for the film in early 2021.

Ahead of the film's release, some gloriously gruesome new poster art from illustrator Brock Hofer has been unveiled that takes the gore to full-blown GWAR concert levels of epicness! Speaking of GWAR, Kostanski and crew were given the absolute privilege of having the poster premiered by our alien overlords themselves over on Instagram!

"Featuring a supporting turn from Kostanski’s Astron-6 collaborator Adam Brooks (and a few other surprise cameos), PG (Psycho Goreman) introduces emerging stars Nita-Josée Hanna and Owen Myre as Mimi and Luke, a perpetually bickering sister/brother duo who unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord (Matt Ninaber) who’s been entombed in their backyard. They nickname the malevolent creature Psycho Goreman (or PG for short) who thanks to their possession of a magical amulet is forced to obey their childish whims."

"PG: Psycho Goreman is a perfect movie for all of us who grew up in a video store," said RLJE Films chief acquisitions officer Mark Ward. "It has so much heart, thrills and fun that we believe this could be a franchise. We love this movie."

Kostanski produced Psycho Goreman with Stuart F. Andrews, Shannon Hanmer, Jesse Kristensen and the Toronto Film Festival’s Midnight Madness programmer Peter Kuplowsky.
