'Gone in the Night' Trailer - Winona Ryder Horror Film Heads to a Remote Cabin in the Redwoods

Ahead of its theatrical release this July, Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for Gone in the Night (formerly titled The Cow), a new horror movie starring Winona Ryder (Edward Scissorhands, "Stranger Things").

Directed by Eli Horowitz ("Homecoming"), Gone in the Night releases in theaters on July 15th, followed by Digital and On Demand on August 2nd.

John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), Owen Teague (It franchise, "Black Mirror"), Brianne Tju ("I Know What You Did Last Summer"), Dermot Mulroney (Young Guns, Insidious: Chapter 3), and Dustin Ingram ("Watchmen") also star.

In the film, "Upon arriving at a remote cabin in the redwoods, Kath (Ryder) and her boyfriend (Gallagher Jr.) find a mysterious young couple (Teague and Tju) already there — the rental has apparently been double-booked."

"With nowhere else to go, they decide to share the cabin with these strangers. When her boyfriend mysteriously disappears with the young woman, Kath becomes obsessed and enlists an unlikely supporter (Mulroney) with finding an explanation for their sudden breakup— but the truth is far stranger than she could have ever imagined."

Horowitz co-wrote Gone in the Night with Matthew Derby.
