The fine people at Broke Horror Fan, Witter Entertainment and 215ink have today revealed "Gory Books," a series of children’s book-style adaptations of iconic horror properties, and the debut installment is based on George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead!
Witter Entertainment details, "Explore the foundations of fright through intriguing illustrations by Will Perkins (Dark Horse Books) and poetic prose by Mike D. Perkins, as a group of strangers barricade themselves in an old farmhouse to ward off an encroaching plague of flesh-eating zombies!"

But that's not all, the book covers also have matching VHS editions, which are limited to 25 each!
There's also a killer zipper pouch crafted professionally by Rochelle New of Home Row Fiber Co., based on her design for the book's spine. Perfect for storing art or makeup accoutrements, and most importantly, candy on the go.
