A British anthology series created by Hammer Films in 1980, "Hammer House of Horror" consisted of thirteen 51-minute episodes that blended the supernatural with a very modern horror, from hauntings and demonic possessions to sinister incarcerations, werewolves and cannibalism. The series also boasted a consistently high-calibre cast including Peter Cushing, Diana Dors, Denholm Elliott, Brian Cox and Sian Phillips.
We've learned today that the complete series is coming to Blu-ray just in time for Halloween from Imprint Films.
The Limited Edition 3-disc set will come in hardbox packaging with all thirteen episodes remastered in stunning new high definition and in their original full screen aspect ratio. The release is limited to 1,500 copies.
