If you've got three minutes to kill (and you know you do), filmmakers Dan Gitsham and Sophie Mair have released their chilling new short film, Bill, for free viewing online!
The short tells the story of a grieving widow who employs the dark arts to see her husband once more.
Bill is an effectively creepy little short, one that'll stick with the viewer for a bit after watching. It's a simple, yet haunting film that carries a tone similar to that of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark or "Tales from the Crypt" and it's sure to send a chill up your spine!
"The film is a DIY Self Funded short film inspired by the Ghost our two young sons would talk to in the ceiling called ‘Bill’," says Gitsham and Mair. "We were chilled to the bone and the events inspired this 3 minute film which premiered at the prestigious Encounters Short Film Festival 2019. The film was partially conceived as a challenge to shoot a short film in our own house, with our own props in just 1 day. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak our festival submission strategy has been cut short so we have decided to release the project online."
Watch the short but sweet (in a terrifying way) Bill below!
