Horror-Western 'The Pale Door' Saddles Up for an August Theatrical Release

After acquiring the film back in May, RLJE Films will release the horror-western The Pale Door in theaters, as well as On Demand and Digital on August 21st, 2020.

The Aaron B. Koontz (Camera Obscura, Scare Package) directed film will also premiere on Shudder at a later date.

Described as 3:10 to Yuma meets The Descent, The Pale Door follows The Dalton gang, who take shelter in a seemingly uninhabited ghost town after a train robbery goes south.

"Seeking help for their wounded leader, they are surprised to stumble upon a welcoming brothel in the town’s square. But the beautiful women who greet them are actually a coven of witches with very sinister plans for the unsuspecting outlaws."

Koontz co-wrote the film with Cameron Burns and Keith Lansdale ("Creepshow").

The Pale Door stars Devin Druid ("13 Reasons Why"), Zachary Knighton (The Hitcher), Melora Walters (Magnolia), Bill Sage (We Are What We Are), Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills, The Innkeepers) and Noah Segan (Late Phases, Looper).

Joe R. Lansdale (Bubba Ho-Tep, Cold In July) served as executive producer.

Stay tuned for a trailer!
