IFC Midnight Brings Paranoia-Driven Thriller 'Kindred' to Theaters and VOD in November [Images]

Kindred New Images IFC Midnight

After acquiring North American rights to director Joe Marcantonio's Kindred back in July, IFC Midnight will be releasing the psychological thriller to theater and VOD platforms on November 6th.

Today, we've got a fresh look at the film in the form of some new images, seen below.

"Kindred is a twisted psychological drama that explores themes of control and a young woman’s struggle with the slow breakdown of her own sense of reality."

The film follows vulnerable mother-to-be Charlotte (Tamara Lawrance) as she is taken in by her recently deceased boyfriend's mother (Fiona Shaw) and her stepson (Jack Lowden), who seem increasingly obsessed with her every move. Plagued by mysterious hallucinations, Charlotte's suspicions grow about Margaret and Thomas' intentions for her unborn child.

Edward Holcroft (Kingsman, The Sense of an Ending) also stars in the film that Marcantonio co-wrote with Jason McColgan.

Stay tuned for a trailer in the months leading up to the film's release.
