Lionsgate has released a brand new trailer for their time travel thriller Antebellum, which was pushed out of its April release slot all the way back to August 21st, 2020 due to COVID-19. It's unlikely, but let's hope theaters will be opened back up by the end of summer.
In the film, Janelle Monáe plays author Veronica Henley, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.
Marque Richardson II, Eric Lange, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Rob Aramayo, Lily Cowles, and Jena Malone round out the cast.
Antebellum comes from directors Gerard Bush and Christoper Renz (Bush+Renz), and is produced by Sean McKittrick (Get Out, Us).
