For the first time in the movie’s 45 year history, NECA announced at this year's Toy Fair a brand new 8″ clothed figure line based on Steven Spielberg's Jaws, featuring the licensed likeness of Robert Shaw as Sam Quint and Roy Scheider as Martin Brody from the 1975 classic!
Standing at 8″ tall, both the seasoned shark hunter and the Amity police chief are equipped with tailored clothing and screen accurate accessories, including various firearms, a scuba tank, binoculars, a chum bucket and more.
NECA also lets us know that "collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year!"
You can expect Brody and Quint to be released in September 2020.
Based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel of the same name, Jaws was co-written by Benchley and Carl Gottlieb. The film tells the story of a giant man-eating great white shark that attacks beachgoers at a New England summer resort town, forcing police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) to hunt the beast down with the help of marine biologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and professional shark hunter Quint (Robert Shaw).
