Well, here's something I never thought would happen...
Kino Lorber announced this week that they are bringing director Jerry London’s 1974 made-for-television horror film Killdozer to Blu-ray later this year as a part of their Studio Classics collection!
The company didn't reveal many details on the release outside of the actual announcement, but they did let us know it'll feature a brand new 2K restoration.
Adapted from a 1944 novella of the same name by Theodore Sturgeon, Killdozer tells the story of six construction workers stationed on a small island off the coast of Africa, who find themselves terrorized when a ruthless life-form takes over a bulldozer and then sets off on a killing rampage. Despite limited fuel, the renegade machine methodically hunts down the men one by one in a full-throttle drive to death.
The film stars Clint Walker, Robert Urich and Neville Brand.
Stay tuned for more details as we near the "Summer 2020" release window!
In the meantime, you can check out a vintage trailer for the film below.
