Touted as "a terrifying blend of action and horror," Arclight Films’ snowboarding survival-slasher Let It Snow is headed our way this fall, and the official trailer has made its way online this week. You can watch it below.
Reminiscent of the 2003 slasher Shredder, the film features an axe-wielding, masked murderer on a snowmobile, who appears to have a very twisted sense of humor.
In the film, "As Mia and Max visit a remote European resort for a free-ride snowboarding vacation, they ignore the receptionist’s disturbing tales of unexplained deaths on the nearby trails. But when they sneak onto a forbidden slope, Max goes missing, and Mia finds herself attacked by a masked snowmobile rider. Now she must brave the rider’s vicious attacks–as well as a massive avalanche–if she hopes to survive."
Directed by Stanislav Kapralov, Let It Snow stars Ivanna Sakhno (Pacific Rim: Uprising, The Spy Who Dumped Me), Alex Hafner (Submergence, The Counselor), and Tinatin Dalakishvili (Abigail).
Kapralov co-wrote with Omri Rose.
Lionsgate brings Let It Snow to DVD, Digital and On Demand on September 22nd, 2020. The DVD release will include the special feature "The Making of Let It Snow."
