With the recent release of Tarsier Studios’ Little Nightmares II, it was only a matter of time before Honest Game Trailers made a video about the series…and it certainly doesn’t disappoint!
Fortunately, the Honest Game Trailers commentator had almost nothing negative to say about either game, and he even complimented the horror aspects in a few different ways. One of the few things that got picked on was the hellish feeling of missing your timing during a chase sequence and being forced to replay the level, turning the players anxiety up to 11.
Little Nightmares II is the sequel to 2017’s hit game, which proved a developer can provide an engaging story and impressive visuals without a huge studio budget (take note, Naughty Dog!).
In Little Nightmares II, you play as a little boy named Mono, who works together with Six, the protagonist of the first game, to survive the Pale City and its many monstrosities.
The game has received generally positive reviews so far on Steam, and it’s available across all platforms, including PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
